Default Protocol problem on Engine 01 group

I have a protocol warning when connecting vag-com to the Engine 01 group --> "Can't sync baud rate"
The car is a golf IV 1.6 16S from 2001.
With other cars I have no problem and with this car, I can access to the other modules.
I don't understand !
I have tried to reduce the communication speed but I have always this message.
Is it possible that for this car, it is impossible to communicate with this module ??
Thanks

What are you using for hardware and software?

I'm using a "modern" interface from www.OBD3.DE.
I'm a vag-com registered user and I'm using Release 311.2.
Every thing was really fine on several cars until this problem for this module.

Sounds like that controller may be using a baud rate incompatible with that hardware:

I take it you've already tried this:

If when you try to connect to a control module, you get the error message "Can't Synch Baud Rate", go to the Options Screen and try setting the Start Baud to 9600. If 9600 doesn't work, also try 4800 and 1200. Turn the car's ignition OFF and back ON after each failed attempt to connect!
