Default Replacing sills

Anyone who had tips on removing the sills (rockers) on a B4? Where are the spotwelds? Anyone who has done this and has pics?

You’re opening a can of worms.... A wire wheel on an angle grinder will expose them.

Along the pinch welds in the door openings, across the A and B pillars, the rocker pinch welds under the car, and the wheel openings.

Mask off area, paint stripper, wire wheel ect. there are about 100 of them on each side. while you're replacing them, go ahead and weld in a 3/16 strip of flat bar to reinforce the jack points.
plenty of weldable primer in everything before you finish it. evens frame internal spray kit as well.
those tips will go a long way to a better job. post pics when its done please.

Check out how birdman did his over at vwvortex
There was another build with crazy wheel wells to get 22" wheels in to fit and slam to the ground. Cant remeber the thread but he also had a blog for it. I'll check my bookmarks when I get hine for it but he redid his rockers as well. Plenty of pictures on it
