Anyone who's done it before, what are some things I need to know/ things that you learned to make the process go quicker or easier? I couldn't find a detailed write up anywhere just vague instructions. I'll have access to a lift, but this is the first time I'm really delving into this soot covered pit with the exception of basic maintenance . Any advice would be appreciated.

Not really complicated. Once you see what you're up against, it's pretty straightforward.

All bolts are accessible with extensions, nothing special needed.
There's enough slack in the coolant hoses to trim a bit off the ends if they're softened up.

Use PB blaster or equivalent on the cooler-to-exhaust manifold bolts. Mine came right out after a short soak in this magical fluid.

Also, the cooler can be disconnected and left in place with no ill effect.

From skidplate off to skidplate back on took me about an hour. It's not a hard job.

Well every bolt came out pretty easily with the right combination of extensions and swivels, and the cooler itself came out with a bit of finesse, but I'll have to replace one of the coolant hoses, feels like playdoh.
