2009 Jetta TDI P2002 Code MIL On Help

So I would like to spell out the story and get some recommendations regarding the next best step regarding a Check engine light (MIL or CEL) coming on my dash repeatedly after a G451 sensor replacement and DPF regen and MIL reset. Here is what has happened so far:
1. Encountered MIL light and scanned for code, found P047A.
2. Researched part number 076 906 051A as replacement for 03G 906 051A for 2009 CBEA Jetta TDI engine G451 Exhaust pressure sensor 2.
3. Ordered and replaced sensor G451, did G450 sensor adaptation with VCDS. This made the P047A code disappear and MIL go out.
4. Scanned for OBD codes after sensor replacement 1 day later and found pending code P2002 (no MIL light). Drove for another few hundred miles.
5. Encountered another MIL light for P2002 now as Current DTC instead of pending. Did a manual/emergency DPF regeneration while driving. Reset MIL light after DPF regeneration was complete while freeway driving for 15+ minutes.
6. Drove car for 2 days after regen and now light came back on again today with P2002 code again.

So what I am looking for is good advice as to the next step:
1. Does anything think the DPF is really bad given the history?
2. Should I replace G450 (076 906 051A) and do the adaptation on my car again for that sensor?
3. Any other troubleshooting or recommendations?
I am just a little leary of having to replace BOTH sensors for $75+ a pop and the PITA it is to get the hose clamps off.

It looks like your car has about 94K miles? Have you scanned your car to see what the oil ash volume is? Are you seeing a check engine light or are you seeing the DPF light? I think there are two sensors... one before and one after the DPF. The part #'s are very similar. There might be some re-programming using VAGCOM when you replace these sensors. I would take the car on a long highway drive 50+ miles and let the car go through a complete regen process. Does you car go into "limp mode" at all?

I'm not an expert on this, so hopefully other members will chime in.
Hope you get it fixed. I'm dealing with a different issue. These cars.. love 'em or hate 'em.

Yes I have, here are the values from the different blocks:

Just the CEL/MIL light, no DPF light at all. First time I saw the DPF light ever come and stay on was manually triggering a DPF regeneration the other day.

Never has gone into limp mode.

Drive cycle of the car is >80% highway miles at >60 MPH the entire duration. Drive ~45 mi to/from work everyday M-F.

Ordered new G450 sensor. Will install and adapt it once I get it early next week. Then do a DPF regen again and drive to see how this "fixes" the issue.

So I remember when I was troubleshooting the G451 (Exhaust Pressure Sensor 2) for the first trouble code there was a testing procedure to take a multimeter and test resistance at room temperature that I had followed. I decided to give that a shot and found the values on between 1-2 and 2-3 were both pretty consistently 10.2 KOhm or 10.8 KOhm which is too high for either of them. Here is the snippet I found from my manual regarding this test procedure:
Test procedure
Make sure the engine is at room temperature.
Disconnect the Exhaust Pressure Sensor (G450/G451) electrical harness connector.
Checking internal resistance
Using a multimeter, measure the resistance between the terminals 1 and 2 of the Exhaust Pressure Sensor (G450/G451).
Specified value for G450 (sensor 1): 6880 ohms (+/- 500 ohms)
Specified value for G451 (sensor 2): 69.7K ohms (+/- 1000 ohms)
Using a multimeter, measure the resistance between the terminals 2 and 3 of the Exhaust Pressure Sensor (G450/G451).
Specified value for G450 (sensor 1): 4028 ohms (+/- 300 ohms)
Specified value for G451 (sensor 2): 9720 ohms (+/- 300 ohms)
If any specified value was not obtained:
Replace the Exhaust Pressure Sensor (G450/G451). Refer to the repair information.
So since one is almost close and the other was way off, I would say its a safe bet that the sensor is bad even though it is not throwing a code for it explicitly.

So just to provide some final closure here, I replaced the G450 sensor when it arrived and did the adaptation procedure and a DPF regeneration. So it has been 1 week of driving and so far no codes anymore or CEL/MIL on the dash. I think it has finally been solved, thanks to everyone's advice.
