Would anyone be interested in having a paintless dent repair person attend our little happening? Not sure on pricing at this point, I just want to see if there is enough interest to pursue this further. Post up and let me know.

I just got a slightly noticable ding on my front pass. fender that I wouldn't mind getting out if the price is right.

Anyone else interested?:)

I'd be very interested in this depending on the price... Sadly, I have a bunch of parking lot dents that need to be pulled.

MDiesel,

If this works out anything like Dent Wizard at Impexfest, there will be a steady stream of customers. I think the key is having the price right. Dent Wizard charged $25 a dent, which means on average they got about $75 for a few minutes work on each car. If this will be the same style service, then it'll be an overwhelming success.

I recall Dent Wizard's fee was a bit higher at Impex...:(

I’m going by observation: counting the dents and noting how much cash was forked over. I don’t really know what they were charging. I’d pay $50 to have my ding disappear. Much more than that and I’d spend some time figuring out how to do it myself.

5-door, 5-speed Golf GLS replaced BeetleGo.
I have one in the hood that I would mind erasing if it's $50.

I have one in the passenger door that got there the first week I got the car back in 01. Nothing else since then ... where is some wood to knock on now?? ;)

If you time it before the Show n' Shine, Krappy may be a taker! Sometimes I wonder if the PO parked in in the middle of a driving range!

Like the others, we are price dependent....

I think it is a great idea! :D And I also think there will be a lot of impulse takers if the work is good.

If the dent removal specialist is dent wiz, or someone whose work you've seen, then I would be interested.

The guys from Dent Wiz who come to Impexfest are good, but not all paintless dent removal people are the same.

The price for Impexfest was $50 per dent/per panel. So if you had two on a door panel, they'd do both for $50. When they need to move to another panel, there was an additional charge. Still at 1/2 price, it's a bargain.

The dent guy we use here at the dealership is from Cindy Rowe Auto Glass. They do very good work, and handle just about every dealership around the area. I'm still waiting price confirmation, and to see if they have someone willing to devote part of their holiday weekend to the fest. I should have an update later today.

Looks like dent repair for the Fest will not be happening. My guy cancelled, and my other dent repair person isn't available Labor Day weekend.
If anyone knows of any other paintless dent repair specialist that would be interested in attending, get in touch with me asap.

This is a great idea. The next SoCA GTG, I will bring the best PDR guy on the planet, bar none! He's not cheap but trust me, you don't want a mediocre PDR guy on you car because you will only get what you pay for. Later!

We've been doing this at Impexfest for the past two years.
