Although I have never attended a TDIfest, I know TDIfest has always been both a get together and fundraising opportunity. Since there is no TDIfest this year, I was thinking that a donation is in order.

I just made a donation and I challenge anyone else, who like me finds the TDIclub.com website helpful and useful to do the same.

Without donations TDIclub.com doesn't exist.

Even $1 says you appreciate what goes on here, and if you can give more, please do. You can find the paypal link in the lower left on the www.tdiclub.com homepage.

Who else is with me?

For those that were intending to go to St. Louis this year:
How much would you have spent on the hotel rooms?
How much on the raffle tickets?
How much on food, fuel and lodging while getting to, and back from, St. Louis?
How about sending some of that un-spent money directly to Fred this year?

Good point, johnboy. I don't attend TDIFest, but this is a good reminder that it's time to support what has been over the years a very valuable resource to me. Donation sent.

I just sent some CAD to fred myself. I couldn't figure out why the amount I sent changed, then I noticed it converted my US greenbacks into funny money!
I would challenge others to dump a bucket of used oil over their heads, but I think just sending some money gets the point across!
Every little bit is a good thing, guys. This site has been a wonderful resource for so many of us other the years. Thanks Fred!

We made a donation to the Club a few weeks ago. My reasoning was that we would have provided products for the raffle and auction, plus last year we made a cash donation in addition to the products. So we did it again. This club is invaluable to us as a vendor, and I enjoy it as an enthusiast. Let's keep it going and keep it advertising free!

Congrats to annieneff for submitting (and already paying) the winning the bid and thanks to Metal_Man for donating the timing belt kit. I'll put these and all the other donations that have come in to good use keeping the forums up and running advertising free.

The website is appreciated Fred!

Metal_Man timing belt kit and tee shirt arrived today! Beauty quality kit and the shirt is the first tdi thing I've got that my wife liked:D. High praise indeed. The shirt and the tb kit will be put to good use by the end of the week!

Cheers to a great community, and special thanks again to Dennis of Metal_Man and Fred.

I'm glad to see this thread still going.

Our golf has only had only one key for 4+ years. I'll start the bidding at $100.

that's a heckuva package! I wish i'd have seen this a few weeks ago. I purchased one through my dealer for a friend of mine. WITH my wholesale discount, I paid around $225 for one, including the $45 labor they stick you with!

$125 on the key package.

I don't really need 2 keys. If you wanted to split it up I would go $100 on one key and maybe we could get the total up a bit higher.
