I read that it is possible to add a reverse camera to the nav system of a 2010 Jetta TDI Sportwagen. Is that true? In USA it is not standard with the system. How is it accomplished?

It's an option on some models in other countries. So, I'm guessing you'll just need to buy all the parts, hook 'em up and do some Vag-Com magic to make it all work together. Certainly should not be out of the realm of possibility.

RNS-510 Plug & Play Back up Camera

Kufatec USA has plug & play hardware for the RNS-510. Cost is $179.95 not including camera. TV in motion plug & play is also available for $235.95 The Can Gateway will need to be coded to rear View Cam. I had this installed in my 2010 Jetta TDI and it is working.
