haha. thanks Kriesel. The crazy part is that I didn't even try. I mean all I did was downshift a few gears (maybe 3 or 4) and floor it. Before you can look at the speedo that damn thing is reading triple digits and by the time you notice what you're doing you're going "bye-bye license" fast. It's kinda silly having that much power on the streets. Kinda silly and yet very awesome.

I think what Kriesel is trying to say, don't admit to a crime on a public forum

Default BHW Flapper Valve

Does anyone have a good flapper valve for a BHW they would be willing to sell? I ruined mine when I cleaned the gears with brake cleaner. I guess I didn't get it all dried up, put it back together and ran it. Solvent + Heat + Sealed environment, it pretty much dissolved the circuit board that is in the cap... chips and resistors fell off of the board...

Wow near death coming back from Webster WI: So I am tooling along on Hwy 70 thinking about our retirement place when two vehicles coming from the other way pass me: Wham something it my windshield right in between my eyes. Oh windshield held. Get home and there is a groove in my hood that almost went through the hood. The replacement windshield guy shook his head and said that was a cinder block and if it had not hit the hood that hard it would have gone right through the windshield.

I'm happy your ok Chris.

Being from Wisconsin myself, I know that you never really know what's going to happen to you there until your already into it. you just need to make sure it doesn't follow you home. I had a fist size rock dropped from railroad bridge land on my (boroughed trucks) windshield just after bar close one night. I pulled over and made chase but those little bastards were too fast for me and got away. Seeing as how I just came from the bar I was not about to call the cops in that incident.

Had a similar incident in broad daylight on southbound 35W between downtown and 62. Kids up on an over pass dropped a rock that hit my delivery truck's windshield and sprayed shards of glass all over the interior of the truck. Very scary. Glad you came away unscathed Chris.

Weird noises on my 2002: sometimes not all the times when I am coming to a stop when i hit the brakes I here a cluink, and if I pump the brakes I here the clunk over and over again. Then today no sound. What the f**k?

also look at neons and pt cruisers
the offset might be a little different but they're 5x100 like ours

True. I had a set of winter tires on 15" steel wheels I was not using, so put them on my niece's Dodge Stratus for one season so she could get around Northfield. But I am not sure every wheel will fit as there is the diameter of the hub to consider.

yeah I won them on an auction for less than half price.. but they ended up being Ford rims 5x114.3 I believe with winter tires, so I may just flip them and go buy new rubber.. wanted to set up a winter set and summer set...

Got a compact spare from a PT cruiser that fits mine, iirc the center hole's real big so it's lug centric though.
