So a new tdi came with some wheels I'm not fond of.

Ignore the configurator stance
This is on a gray sportwagen. What I think I don't like is the chrome finish. But a while back, I ordered a plastidip wheel kit to paint some other wheels that were dipped black and needed freshened up. I bought a graphite color and since the old wheels were already black, I only needed a couple coats of graphite to get the color I wanted. Point being, I have a lot of graphite left.
1. How do you think the wheel would look on a gray car if I painted the chrome graphite?
2. Considering the profile where the spokes meet the chrome lip, how would I go about getting a clean break leaving the black alone and changing the chrome to graphite?
I'm open to other colors, or even just selling the set they way they are (near new).
Would love your opinion on how to make Plastidip stick on some areas and peel on others.
