I was recently out west (Tucson, AZ.) visiting with friends and my car sat undisturbed for 2 days, in the meanwhile a packrat decided to take up residence under the engine cover and help himself to a 6" length of wire from the fuel injector needle lift sensor. The car was a DOG all the way back home, some 1200 miles. I discovered what the problem was but I am not sure if it makes any difference which way the wires go back together. Both wires are white in color with no distinguishing marks between the two, so I spliced them back together. Can anyone help me with more info on this particular sensor?
P.S. it's located on the #3 injector

It seems to be a *dumb* circuit.....just looking for a signal with no polarity. It provides a signal to the ECU and provides the info for all the timing and advance of the ignition(oooops, injection) in the different modes.
