Has anyone experinced oil leaking around the outside of the turbo hose that connects to the intercooler pipe? I pulled off the hose and found oil on the inside of the turbo. I guess my turbo is leaking oil WHY? I have 135,000 miles and have changes my oil and filter every 5,000 miles.

The oil on the inside of the turbo pipe and pipes there after is explained by the CCV (Crankcase Ventilation) system. It carries oil vapor into the air intake and it condenses in the pipes as oil. It happens to all of our cars and will frequently build up in the intercooler. It combines with the soot from the EGR Valve to give you that wonderful Sludge that clogs the intake manifold.

As for oil being on the outside of that tube...I am trying to figure that out myself as I think my TDI is leaking from there.
