Fuel pump issues

I have a 2010 Jetta TDI with 157k on it just 3 days a go I put on a new auxiliary fuel pump because it was making a terrible sound. After that the low fuel pressure code went away and it wouldn’t go into limp mode anymore. Today I was driving and it went into limo mode, and wouldn’t you know the pump is making the noise again
Is it possible the pump was faulty from the manufacture or is there another reason it would be making that sound again
Any thing helps!!

What exactly was the code? Any audio/video of the noise it makes?

It throws code 00135 on my reader and it is like a humming noise.
