2006 Jetta TDI sedan (manual) X 2009 Jetta TDI wagon

Aloha guys,

I’m debating whether to buy a 2006 Jetta TDI sedan or a 2009 Jetta TDI Sportwagen.

The 2006 is manual (less problems I guess), but the 2009 is a wagon (I surd so I could use the extra space).

Also, I believe that I could run the 2006 on B99 as the 2009 one I cannot, correct?

VAG does not permit either to run on B99. That said, it doesn't mean you can't... just that the people that designed and built the car say you shouldn't.

The 2006 will for sure give less issues, since there is less there to go wrong. You are aware of Dieselgate, correct? As the 2009 would be involved in that, so has it been fixed or not?
