Fifteen year off-the-frame restoration down to the last nut and bolt and it won best in show its first time out. Ron is a retired Chevy Master Tech. The original engine had been pooched by the previous owner and would have required boring to make it run, but Ron worked with his parts manager and they found a NOS long block, still in the crate with the SAME DATE CODE as the original engine.I might beat you to it,I have to get over to my friends place and use his `56 Chevy...
