there seems to be some confusion on this topic - i don't think there's much, but i'd just like to make certain it's clear that in order to attend the fest events, you must register for the fest.

your registration fee, as well as the proceeds from the fest, directly support this site. it's not cheap to keep it running and the less money that comes out of fred's pocket, the better!

so please, register for the fest if you plan on attending. you'll get a nice warm fuzzy feeling knowing you've supported the site. not to mention a free t-shirt. and the earlier you register, the better we can make the fest. so don't wait - register today!

see you in september!

I registered and paid for the F1 racing, but at the time I didn't sign up for the buffet and banquet. Now I have changed my mind and would like to attend those two things. Could I just send a check for them, or how should I go about doing that?

re-submit your registration, with the changes noted. there's a field there specifically for making changes to your previous registration. then just send the monetary difference.

Should we expect to get some sort of confirmation of registration/payment? Or do we just show up at the 'Fest and hope nothing got lost?

When you registered you should have received an address at the email you registered with... if you did not, please let me know and I can forward it your way again.

Derek, so of the email from the registration page may be getting detected as spam as the e-mail appears to be coming from the recipent, ie the To: and From: address are the same.
This is something the sapmmers have done in the past.

ahh... i could see that. not sure how to compensate for that though, i'm afraid. I'll send out another confirmation email to everyone who has registered and paid thus far, just so they can sleep easy at night.
