Modifications

What sort of modifications have people done to their cars that don't invalidate the warranty. I'm really excited about making this car more my own but don't really have the bucks to fix something if VW decides it's not under warranty.

Any and all suggestions are welcome.

... or other cosmetic non-functional stuff. Horsepower-adders of any sort - or even stuff that looks like a horsepower-adder but isn't (e.g. a cold-air intake - you already have a good one bone stock) - will give VW grounds to invalidate the drivetrain warranty.

If warranty coverage is the prime concern, enjoy your bone stock vehicle the way it is. It works fine.

blue-tint, heated aspherical side mirrors are really nice... euroswitch and ecodes w/fogs - they're a great upgrade for the mk4 jetta, not sure how the lights are on the mk5.. but i know people have commented on this. do a search for these for the mk5 (aka a5)... oem monster mats and splash guards are really nice to have as well, but again, i can only comment on the mk4 ones...

Just wear the VW beanie with the turbo prop up top.
