Windshield Wipers

Has anyone removed the wiper blades, if so how do they come off. I also saw that Bosch offers replacement wiper blade set for a 2005 Jetta, but does not specify if it is the MK-5. Eventually they will need replaced, and I would like to be able to purchase them from the aftermarket, not the dealer, as I usually run the Anco winter blades. Also Wix has oil filters available for the 2005-5 Jetta under part number 57083, and will soon have air filters under part number 49186, if the air filter is the same as the Gasser. The MK-4 air filters were the same, Diesel and Gas.

Bosch offers the wipers for the B5.5 PASSAT, and these appear to be the same as the A5 Jetta.
Trico also makes the wipers, from memory they are 21-12 and 19-12.
