Is the EGR physically blocked? Similar issues arise when EGR is stuck open. Since your is mapped out, sholdn't be a problem but is it blocked ir is just the valve left closed?
The EGR is on the back of the engine, barely seen from the bottom. You need to look from the tunnel to see it. It's a single assembly which consists of EGR cooler and a valve combined.
