Metalnerd Strut Tool - Borrow? Hamilton / Burlington / Oakvill / Guelph / Owen Sound

Hey Guys,

Any one have the Meltalnerd Strut tool for a MK4 Golf that I can borrow for beer?

Any location but preferably hamilton area. Can be anywhere up highway 6 or 10 from mississauga to owen sound and around hamilton / burlington.

Make one.

Get a large allen socket and grind down 2 sides to make it oval shaped.

I use a large spark plug socket for that, 13/16ths I think it is, usually they even have a hex head so you can grip it with a wrench and put the 7mm allen key through. I can lend you some tools.

Yes, the 13/16" spark plug sockets works.

I find that the handle from the jack, or a small pipe works well to hold the small end of the allen.

3/8 - 1/4 adaptor works fine also....never bought a tool for that job...
