It certainly looks great.

from article:
At the moment we don’t have an official press release but we already know a great deal about the all-new Passat. It’s up to 85 kg (188 lbs) lighter and will be available with a couple of 1.4 TSI engines generating 125 PS and 150 PS, respectively. There’s also the usual 1.8 TSI with 180 PS and a 2.0 TSI duo with 220 PS and 280 PS. On the diesel side, you will find VAG’s typical 1.6 TDI rated at 120 PS and a trio of 2.0-liter TDIs with 150 PS, 190 PS and 240 PS.

These all look like European Passat offerings, not American (NMS) Passats. I wish there would be a Passat "Variant" sold in the US. We can drool, but we cannot own.

Have Fun!

Signature.
I personally do not like it at all.

Way to Audi-ish in the back and CC-ish in the front. Doesn't have it's own style at all.

Yep- going for that scrunched-down rear for the sake of styling over utility- they lost me there.

I think it looks great and I hope the US 2016 face lift Passat will look as good. Waiting out the year for a 2016.
Looking like an Audi is a bad thing! I don't think so.

We have a 2012 Passat TDI, if this comes to US we will get this instead of an A6 Audi and save some cash.
