Throttle Body Sensor

I have a 1999 V6 30 valve Passat Auto and I need a new Throttle Body Sensor ( confirmed by my mechanic, autozone and VW). Does 800 bucks seem reasonable for parts and installation. Seems high to me. It is the VW dealership.

I'm not that familiar with gassers, so nothing surprises me.

There are a number of good sources for OEM VW parts online that would be cheaper than you walking into a dealership.
