My turbo failed a while back on my golf (BKD engine) and ive just got round to changing it. so it's been sat a few months.
I cleaned the whole intake system intercooler etc
New oil/filter oil line and air filter
I primed the turbo by removing the fuel pump fuse
When i turned the ignition on it come up with the check oil light which i did numerous times and it was fine so i started it up (beginning to think this may have been a big error) and all was well initially so i let it idle for a couple of minutes. I then heard a bit of a knock so i instantly turned it off and left it for a few minutes.
Now when trying to start it just sounds very slow and clunky (i only let it turn over once)
Any ideas? or have i now just ruined my engine aswel!
