Help! Removing TSB Cold Weather Intercooler Kit

I recently deleted my EGR so I now would like to uninstall the sh!tty cold weather intercooler kit (1K0198803B).
There's a valve just before the intake manifold which controls the flaps in the intercooler. I want to remove this part but keep the intercooler.

Is there a way to permanently disable bypass mode using the existing vacuum lines?

Find out if its closed or open when the engine is off first. if its open, then just disconnect and plug the vacuum line

It's closed when the vacuum line controlling the flap is disconnected..

Hmmm, I would like to do this as well. Put up any photos or notes when you are finished if you don't mind

...Or upgrade to a S3 intercooler

I'm thinking of buying a 2012 right now - wouldn't drive one without the tsb kit installed.
