Agreed, the alternative would be that you simply update to the latest version of VCDS-Lite as we do believe that there is something "wrong" with the version you are using at the moment.

Hey, I think I know how to solve this for you. Login to engine, go to adaption and read block 00. Then click save. Then exit it all and rescan for fault codes. Should be gone after that,
