2005 Passat No Seedometer

I did some recoding for my Audi's ECU in my B5.5 because Vagcom didn't work in the Audi, but did in my Passat TDI with the manual 5 speed. Both cars have BHW engines. After I reconnected the original ECU into the Passat, the Speedometer and Odometer no longer worked. I scanned and got the code 16887 P0503-000 (Vehicle Speed Sensor: Signal Too High), so I replaced the VSS and still no speedometer. Is there something I have to re-code to get the odometer and speedometer working again so that I have cruise?

I tried a second VSS, now it is working.
