New member here and new to owning a tdi. Sorry if this topic has been covered somewhere but I did try researching for it and didn’t find someone with the same issues. I replaced my front brakes and rotors and now, while driving, when I press the brake pedal I hear a hissing noise from the engine compartment. When the car is stopped completely and the pedal is pressed no noise. I check the vacuum line going to the brake booster and it seems intact and whwre it needs to be. What else could it be? Thanks for any help.

Check the pipe coming from the vacuum pump that goes to the brake booster for cracking.
