TDI burning oil

Hello all,
I have a mkiv 05 TDI BEW. I have a stage 2 Malone tune, and a stage 3 colt cam. Under normal startup and driving I know TDIs burn a little oil, however at warmer temps outside and under full throttle my jetta likes to leave a nice white cloud behind me. Curious what could be causes and what to check. I do not want "well you shouldn't be doing" answers. I'm asking because if my turbo is on it's way out I'd like to know so I can drive my other car and not risk catastrophic failure that accompanies this. When oil levels are checked there is no strange drop in level. Running Pentosin VW approved oil. Prior to replacing my cam and timing belt I was running Mobil TDT. Any ideas?

White cloud doesn't sound like burning oil. Are you seeing oil loss in the level going down? Sounds more to me like you've got coolant coming out the tailpipe. Are you losing coolant?

A bad turbo will definitely make white smoke, especially if it is leaking oil in to the hot side.
