True-
Snowscreen is one of the more polite terms for it-
I totally submerged the nose of the car in snow, drove around in a week of blizzards, and now have huge puddles to contend with.........and I still didnt wet the airfilter (K&N vs Paper)-

I removed my snowscreen and most of the intake before the air filter last month- left the snorkle going behind the fender left off rest-

Changed air filter today- we have had approx. 3feet of snow since I removed the screen, and I drove thru a couple fresh snowbanks and deep snow when I was pursued by a Psycho last week.

The paper filter looked fine but dirty- it didnt look like it had gotten wet from snow- looked fine- there was some dust/crud in the bottom of the airbox but the top looked fine.
