Stuck interior dome light........always on.

hello there :

yesterday, my driver side interior dome light ( not center or right side one), became always on.
I tried the switch to push it OFF, but it just pops back and remains on.

I tried to tape it for now, to prevent electricity drainage..

How do you fix this light swittch issue ?

Do I have to replace whole interior dome light assembly ?


I can go to junk yard and pickup another set.....
Or can I just replace or fix maybe a broken switch or spring ????


Anyone ever have that interior light stay constant on...…..

I use tape, and it stays off....but gradually the buttom pushes tape back............and it goes ON.

Should be able to just get one from a junkyard

Simply popoff the clear lense to expose the phillips screws. I think you'll popoff a sunroof motor cover for better access. And lastly, unplug the plug "on top"(in the back) of the Assembly.
Also, it should be real inexpensive at a junkyard.
