• The TDIClub classifieds section is a heavily trafficked section of the forum that encompasses want-to-buy (WTB) and for-sale (FS) threads for the entire world. Due to the demanding nature and fast pace of this section, it is imperative that you know and understand the rules. It is also important to remember that this is the only parts classifieds section.

    Cross-posting and posting classifieds in the regional sections (except the dedicated thread in Ontario) is not permitted.

    Multiple items should be sold in one thread. Make sure to provide a description for all items in your post along with pictures and prices. If you start multiple threads with individual items, they will be locked or combined at the discretion of the moderators.

    Here is a quick outline of the classifieds section rules. If you don't follow these rules, you subject yourself to thread deletion, thread combination, infractions, or posting privilege revocation.

    Thread titles:
    • Put FS or WTB in your thread title. This will let other users know if you are selling or buying.
    • Briefly describe what you are selling. Thread titles have limited space. Be as descriptive, yet succinct, as possible.
    • Put your location in the title.
    • If space allows, put your price in the title

    Title example (single item): "FS: 2004 Mk4/BEW cylinder head - Portland, OR - $500"
    Title example (multiple items): "FS: MK6 fog lights, front bumper, headlights, grill - Detroit, MI"
    Title example (car part-out): "FS: Mk3 Jetta parting out engine & interior - Dallas, TX"

    Thread text descriptions and pictures:
    • All for-sale threads must include pictures of the items that you are selling. One picture is sufficient, but multiple pictures with different angles will help buyers. A picture is worth a thousand words. If you don't know how to post pictures on TDIClub, see this thread: http://forums.tdiclub.com/showthread.php?t=286691
    • All for-sale threads must include a description. We don't charge per-word, so be as descriptive as possible. The more information you can provide, the easier it will be for buyers.
    • All for-sale threads must include a price. Auctions and bidding are not allowed. If you want to auction something off, use eBay.
    No picture, no price, NO SALE!

    Thread maintenance/updates/bumps:
    • When you sell something, update your thread with "SOLD!" Moderators will close the thread and update the title.
    • If you have multiple items for sale, update your thread as each item has been sold. When everything has been sold, updated the thread with "ALL ITEMS SOLD!" Moderators will close the thread and update the title when all items have been sold.
    • If you bump your thread, please delete old bumps by clicking on EDIT and then deleting the old bump. This will reduce clutter in your thread and make it easier to read. It also makes you look less desperate.
    • If you drop your price, please update your first post in addition to posting the new price. If you would like the thread title changed, click on the report post icon and let a moderator know what you would like the title changed to.

    Moderator intervention and infraction points:
    Moderators will be monitoring the classifieds section. If a moderator determines that you have not been following the rules listed above, corrections will be made and infraction points will be assessed to your account.

    What is an infraction point? Simple - it's a system of keeping track of user behavior. A moderator can assign a point value based on the severity of the infraction, as well as an expiration date on the points assessed. If you accumulate a certain number of points, the system will auto-ban you for a predefined amount of time. The more points you accumulate, the longer your ban period will be.

    One example of points is as follows: multiple threads will be combined into a single thread, with the number of infraction points assessed corresponding to the number of threads merged. If we merge four threads into one, then you will be assessed four points that expire in 30 days. When you reach five points, the system will auto-ban you for one day.*

    *This is an example based on the current infraction system structure. We reserve the right to modify the infraction system at any time without notice or updates to this announcement.

    Thank you for your cooperation, and good luck with your sales and searches! :)

FS/FT: wagon interior parts, suspension parts, r32 brakes, rear beam etc VA/DC/MD

Selling extra parts here to fund some engine performance mods (prices do not include shipping or PayPal fees):
- rear AE GLI red calipers in used condition; $220 (this was my spare set that I no longer need)
- rear shocks from a 70K miles 2002 GLX VR6 sedan ("upgraded" to coils at 70K) - $60
- a set of rear shocks from a 2005 Jetta Wagon TDI (160k miles on the car prior to changing to Konis) - $45
- Manual A/C airbox with manual controls from a 2005 Jetta TDI; Airbox tested (was working properly when removed from the car) - comes without the blower motor - $55
- black shifter console $45, cupholder console $60, glovebox $80
- front tinted glass (for jetta or 4-door golf) - $35 each for either L or R sides
- dashboard from a 2004 R32 with hardwired garmin pod - asking $325 (paid over $200 for the hardwired mod alone and can send pics upon request)
- rear left/driver GLI red caliper for parts - the bleed valve is damaged - it stripped the thread. It will need either a custom insert with a new valve bolt or re-threaded by a professional machine shop to be used with a larger valve bolt. I've seen aftemarket repair kits too. Alternatively, I guess it can be used as a $192 core when buying a re-manufactured caliper from ECS or elsewhere. $40 takes it!
- two beige leather front headrests $35
- two black leather front headrests $35
- used stock steel LCAs with used TT bushings - $55
- mk4 wagon black carpet from a 40k wagon - mint! - $225 (plus about $60-$70 for shipping if shipping it folded - it unfolds to original shape; will not ship unfolded); also have a clean low mileage one in beige;
- mk4 front beige leather heated and powered seats from a 2001 Jetta GLX VR6 - $350 picked up;
- mk4 Jetta sedan rear seats in black leather in mint shape - $275 (will give a good discount if bought with the front leather seats);
- various mk4 Jetta door cards (two rear black leather from a jetta sedan, one front passenger in black leather, two front ones in black velour like fabric)
- also have a spare running BEW engine with over 200K miles but the TB is only 30K and 1 year old ($650);
- BEW used turbo from the above engine $190
.
Can give a discount if buying more than one part. Local pick-up only so far but I might agree to ship it though, depending on the deal and exact part needed. Please inquire for pics and I'll email them to you as uploading all of them here is a bit difficult.
.
I have occasional trips to NYC for business so if you are interested in any of the above parts and are in the said area or along the DC-NYC route (i.e. DE, NJ, PA) let me know and may be I can arrange for the parts to be delivered or meet half-way.

I would also consider trades for PD TDI performance improvement parts. I'd mainly be interested in a moderate mileage BHW engine with upgraded BSM or BSM delete, a vnt17 VB turbo for BEW with correct actuator, a new BEW turbo install kit, a new PD150 timing belt kit, PD150 injectors with upgraded nozzles; 2.5" DP and/or full exhaust with O2 sensor bun for BEW, Euro R32 DSG snorkel and airbox, PD150 turbo inlet pipe, PD150 accordion pipe, pd150 or BHW oil cooler with all the hardware, a PD150 engine cover with good foam insulation underneath, a BEW engine cover with good foam insulation underneath, a Bosal or Westfalia bolt on hitch (the rare Euro one that goes instead of the rear rebar without drilling holes), or other performance parts. I'd also consider trading some of the parts for OEM Jetta GLI or Euro Bora HID 2003+ headlights (can also throw in my own headlights plus cash on top), 17" mint OEM wheels with good thread tires. Apart from the above parts, depending on the specific deal, I may consider cash on top of the trades from my side. Let me know what you have and which of my parts (if any) you'd be interested in.

I don't know the dimensions off the top of my head but these are standard AE GLI red caliper brakes and your dimensions seem to be about right. There's a DIY somewhere here on the forums. I believe you'll need vr6/1.8t spindles to fit these on a tdi. Thx

The rear calipers will bolt right up long as the calipers come with carriers.

To mount GLI front calipers you will need 1.8t,VR6, R32, or Audi TT spindles.

I went with Audi TT spindles because they have better geometry then the others for lowered cars, however if you go with TT spindles you will also need the TT lower control arms. I went with the GLI calipers and carriers stated above. I track my car periodically and they do well.

Here is a look at my set up. I put new bearing in, and new boots on the calipers before I mounted everything.
