VW 2002 model year?

I know there has been a lot of posting here concerning vehicles in the VW 2002 model year. Where is this information coming from? And is the source reliable? VW's web site has NOTHING on 2002 models. I would like to see a Jetta TDI wagon with automatic transmission. I know it wouldn't be a race car, but what a family/camping vehicle from hell!!!

On the Vortex someone purchased the 2002 jetta 1.8t and posted a picture of the window sticker and the warranty has changed as of 2002. it appears to be 4years or 50,000 miles bumper to bumper and 5 years or 60,000 miles powertrain.

The information on tdiclub is extremely reliable. If you want to check for yourself go to VW web site and look at the changes for 2002 and the warranty for 2002.

Hey, you are in luck because the Jetta TDI Wagon is a reality for 2002.

steve, you should be in luck. The TDI Jetta wagon is to arrive at the end of this year. Same motor, no changes anticipated. I sure would think there will be auto trans cars available too.
