DSG shift boot replacement (2014)

My shift boot is completely trashed, the plastic frame is broken. I looked for shift boots and it appears most vendors sell the shift boot itself, not the plastic frame. Can someone suggest where I can buy one? Is it only from the VW dealership? Thanks!

Thanks for the suggestion but I'm pretty sure it does not include the plastic ring that attaches to the bottom of the shift boot.

That's the problem I see, most sell shift boots without the ring at the bottom. Mine is shot...the shift boot itself is fine.

I'm hoping I don't have to buy a whole shift assembly!!!

Ahh, I just noticed it doesn't include the base ring.

If you can find a part number for the base ring, you should be able to order its replacement from 1stvwparts.com or an equivalent site.
