Loosen the nuts on top of the injectors partially. Crank car till u get fuel out of each of the injectors. This will bleed the air from pump to top of injector. Once fuel is at all 4, tighten them up and it should fire up pretty easy. First time I pulled mine, I didn't do that and it was a bear to crank. Last few times did it with loose tops and she fires right back up

crack the injector lines loose near the injectors and crank engine over till fuel starts to come out

then tighten and it should start

you have air in the lines

Yes.

Just loosen them, though. Don't loosen them TOO much.

make sure to loosen them all the way up and point them directly at your eye.

lol, no DONT do that. also, to make sure fuel is at the fuel filter you can use mightyvac if you have it.

Use a mightyvac to draw fuel from the tank to the filter, then from the return line from the injector pump to the filter.

Once you have fuel all the way through the system, crack the line nuts and crank until they leak fuel. tighten them and start the car.

yes, all four at once.

1. Remove the line with the clear section, it will also be the center line on the filter.

2. plug that line.

3. vacuum the filter where that line was attached to until you have clear fuel.

4. reattach that line.

5. remove the other line that runs from the pump to the filter.

6. plug the filter opening.

7. vacuum that line until fuel runs clear.

8. reattach the line.

9. crack the nuts on the injectors, and crank until fuel leaks out.

10 tighten each nut as it starts to leak fuel and start car.

This is the procedure that Mogolf sent to me.

I don't know how to remove the air in the lines without a vacuum source unless your car has a lift pump. (I don't think it does, does it??)

Anybody else have an idea??

True, but they don't have nuts on the injectors...

haha, so have you a vacuum pump?

you can "make" one. i have a picture, hold on. just instead of it being a "brake bleeder" its a vaccuum.

just suck like you've never sucked before without the fear of getting diesel in your mouth... was that innapropriate?

its just like if you were sucking on the fuel filter, but the diesel that comes out goes into the gatorade bottle instead of your mouth. unless you are ok with diesel in your mouth. ive had a mouthful of gas before...
