Interesting. Any reason all the B5 Passats are listed except the TDI? Just oversight?

Yes I'd think so- Gurus here confirmed this is our tranny so I don't think that is in question. I think the limited voice of the TDI prevents its specific mention on that list but all B5.5 auto passats had this tranny.

There is some good info in those links if you dig like full dissassembly photos of the innards. cool!

You can all get the german factory fill lube there too, at great expense apparently!
