I just had part 2 of the emissions recall done on my brand-new 2015 Golf Sportwagen. On the receipt I was able to decipher most of the items, but can anyone tell me what TDI Emissions Modification Bulletin #2047422 actually says? And what is part number PK03N? Under description it just says "TDI".

You sure it's part 2 of the recall?

Based on a google search it's the oil filter kit. That same part # was listed on my reconditioning invoice.

The full part # is PK03N-115-562 and the description is O3N Kit.

It says Part 2 on the receipt. I'll upload it later, if I can.

I was mistaken. It doesn't say Part 2. BUT... I would still like to know what "TDI Emissions Modification Bulletin #2047422" actually is. Does anyone know? It appears to be un-Google-able.

There are just too many to list....
03N-115-562 is an oil filter.

VAG part numbers are XXX-XXX-XXX, and may have a suffix at the end.

The first 3 digits denote its fitment, usually a platform, engine, or transmission. The second 3 digits denote the section of the car, in this case the "1xx" means an engine part, as the 100s are engine. The last 3 is the numeric specific number.

If the 3 center digits are "x98" that means it is a kit of some sort.

There is a Base 1 and Base 2 kit, 1 is for 2009s only (because those left the factory with the DPF and catalyst as one piece), the 2 kit is for 2010-2014, excluding the Passat. Not sure what the Passat 2012-14 gets.

The 2015s just get a software update right now I think.
