Overall Condition of the Car:
Interior
- Interior is in reasonable condition will some trunk panels currently removed.
- Headliner needs to be re-glued to backer
- Some rattles that can fixed with some patience
- Rattles mostly at idle due to stiff motor mounts
- Extra interior parts to be installed
- This car is not super quiet but not too noisy that it will wake up the neighbourhood.
Exterior
- Small dings on bottom of rockers (before we got the car Pre 2008)
- Paint is still in reasonable condition for its age with no pealing of clearcoat.
Mechanical
- Starts and runs strong
- Does not consume oil
- Handles well and is planted to the road
- No Engine Lights or Warming Lights are on
Most of this work was done 3 years ago and has seen about 7,000 kms of trip/highway driving usually with the small trailer attached.
Comes with a spare 5 speed transaxle the works perfectly but has a small crack in the casting where the dogbone connects that can be fixed by welding.
Comes with an 11mm Injection Pump that I picked up but haven’t installed. (Supposed to work as stated from original owner but I haven’t tested it).
Comes with 2 key fobs and original VW manual.
