Glad to help where I can. The short shifter is only an experiment. It is supposed to give a much better shift solid and controlled. It replaces the plastic and rubber linkage with all aluminum cable ends with race-proven Teflon-lined, steel spherical pivot bearings.

I had 10,000 miles on my smf. Oil was already black from synchro material.

Any updates on the SMF setup? Gears and synchros going strong still?
