Chicago: If anyone needs CKRA Timing Belt help

Water pump failed prematurely on my NMS Passat but I was out of warranty, so ended up doing the pump and timing belt myself.

If anyone in Chicago needs to borrow the tools or some pointers, let me know.

Just the water pump. I just changed the t-belt and all the rollers/tensioner since it was apart.

75k. I drive decent mileage, but I've still never made my money back on extended warranties. I buy all the service docs, etc and do my own work.

Still, at 75k there is no shame for this car. It's chipped and gets driven within an inch of its life every day. Besides tires, oil and DSG changes, filter changes, and a replaced Bluetooth module, the water pump is the only thing that's ever failed. It's even on original brakes.

Sorry. I haven't been on the board in a long time.

All of the smaller pulley bolts are 20 NM plus 90 degrees.
