How do you turn on the park lights? If I let my jetta warm up or just waiting for my wife I like to put on the parking lights. The only way I've gotten them to come on is to shut the engine off with the park brake on With the switch to on of course

Also is it true that you can not lock the doors when the car is running (like when warming it up) heard this from a guy at work who has a friend who has a 2002 jetta

Also my car is a 5 speed if that matters

Thanks
Jeff

Your car doesn't have a position on the switch for parking lights. That's why you should ditch the crappy 2 position switch that looks like something from a Little Tykes toy for one of these.

It's a genuine VW part, and a breeze to install. Also, it supports front and rear foglights if you choose to install them. (I have the rear hooked up, and will do fronts when cash allows.)

You can lock the door with the engine running, I use my valet key for that. but you can use either, Just the remote features won't work while there is a key in the ignition.

Get the $40 buck e-switch from Senna, you'll have hours of fun, I have.
