Well my buddies do not have the quintessential buggy. They have custom built machines with all sorts of motors but VW. So I'm going to see if I can spot one somewhere else.

What's funny is that I kept seeing them so this was on my list for the future, but I wasn't sure how to word it to avoid sticklerism.

Now I'm too busy at work to find one.

I guess I don't know what a quitessential dune buggy is. Are we talking a sandrail, or the fiberglass bodied, street type buggy?

Niether of which I've seen around here in ages, but just in case.

would a picture of my jetta and one of my friends friends rally cars ??? its is an actual i sensial buggy. well actually its just a bug. but we rally it, so its sortofa "bug"gy... its really beat up, has a fibreglass front end, one headlight, and 33's in the back.

I'm thinking he means sandrail with a VW motor. However if you can find one with a bug pan and VW motor that is where it all started. Something like this.

So I ain't the only one who's not sure.

I built one like in whitedog's pic when I was 15 out of '64 VW Notchback. I wish I had restored the car itself, instead.
