FS: 2005 Passat GLS Wagon - Chapel Hill, NC

I hate to sell it, but my growing family demands more space. This wagon is in beautiful condition inside and out. It just flipped 100,000 miles (sitting at about 100,400 now) and runs great. No mechanical issues. BSM conversion was done with timing belt at 90,000 miles. The chain-driven system showed no signs of wear or imminent failure when the procedure was done. Tires were also replaced at 90k miles.

It has a brand new battery, a fresh 505.01 oil change and has been professionally maintained by a VW specialist since I've owned it. (I've had it for about 3 years and 40,000 miles). I have all the maintenance records for it during that time.

Nice to read of an owner who did the BSM, provides the info, rather than saying there is no need for such. Bump for a chainless car.

What's a BSM conversion? Is it manual or automatic?

BSM = balance shaft module (conversion)

All these cars sold in NAmerica are automatic/tiptronic.

I would have purchased this car if it had not been a short-notice need for my purchase and the distance had been closer. I only had 3 days to find and possess a new to me car. While I am very happy with the car I got from Piney, this one was my first choice.

The seller answered every question I could have asked and provided finite detail on several things I hadn't thought to ask on.
