Ford Transit Connect coming to the US?

Note that this isn't the Transit (Ford's Sprinter competitor), it's a size-class down.

I think it could sell like hot-cakes here.

Filling a niche that hasn't been filled lately (the Astro niche?) Check.
Scion xB cool factor? Check.
Practicality? Check.
Fuel economy? Check, even with a gasser, compared to the competition.

The closest competition would be the HHR Panel, and it doesn't come close in practicality.

That was my first impression too.

I like that but I hope they are talking about a lot lower price than $32G!!
