no, not for the 67,000 miles. But the $26,000 number was in reference to a 2014 Q5 pp with 40,000 miles, pasted from above.

MBQ... I totally agree with you...its going to get really interesting as there are at least twice as many PC class owners than the combined number of Q7's and Touregs. Honestly, even aside from the substantive fix (mine came out fine), the horrible and slow process is well beyond any acceptable commercial standard. If they focused on getting the process done in a timely and professional manner, I was still a fan of the great cars they produce. But not being open about exactly what the performance numbers post fix are, not offering the option of a buyback, not handling the claims process like a class organization...
VAG has made a corporate decision that the truth must be hidden at all costs. In my own personal opinion, the handling of the initial lie is way more damaging than the initial lie. Its an arrogant, condescending way to do business.
The reason I liked VW and Audi is the same reason I liked the Jeep Wrangler. Form always followed function, and they tried to pretend they were something other than what they were. Audi has very much gone the way of BMW, Mercedes, and Porsche in this last decade. More bling and show, less understated than years gone by. They seem to be running the company the same way now. A lack of moral fiber, not nearly as transparent as they once were. Maybe thats just the current "normal"?
