Don't have photos, but this one is like mine (exterior and interior colours):

It's mine since 2006/08/17

It's used, but well mantained

Now it has 105000 kilometers (60300 miles)

And has a very good features:

4 power windows

Electrohidraulic Steering

Inmobiliser

8 Speakers

Front Heated Seats (electric)

On board computer

Electric Mirrors (and heated)

4 disc brakes

Front fog lights

....

The engine is the 1.9 TDI PD 101 hp / 240 Nm

This engine has a very good performances, and a really good fuel consumption (5'5 litres/100 Km)

Nice looking car. Another diesel not available in the US. Our govt. has no clue on a clear energy policy whatsoever. We could learn a lot from our friends in Europe when it comes to energy conservation. I'm new to this forum also and read it everyday!

Sanlucar:

Where is this Fabia made? In Spain? I thought Skoda was czech at some point.. Did VW buy Skoda at some point in the past?
Or is Skoda simply using VW 1,9 litre TDI engines?
Thanks for letting me know. I'm just curious. We don't have Skoda's in the US.

Skodas are indeed made in the Czech Republic and are owned by VW. The Fabia is the same platform as the VW Polo and the Seat Ibeza. Years ago Skoda was regarded as an automotive joke as they really were not very good but the effort that has been put into Skoda from both VW and the Skoda workers has turned the Skoda brand in to something that is now held in high regard. Sure that the quality of the components throughout the VW group are all the same but the build quality of Skoda cars is superior to the build quality of Vws or Seats but the styling is pretty conservative
