As you can see by my signature that I own 2 TDIs.
I have noticed that the exaust smells different than it did , say a few weeks ago from both cars.
This differance is not the same as when they changed to ULSD.
Anyone else notice this? Reason why? ect?

I didn't notice it last year.
I keep my cars in a warmer garage that is about 50F and the smell is noticed when the car is started.
It may be the Winter fuel but it is different than last year.
Could there have been a change in the Winter fuel from last year?

Bet on it.
__. If you were a oil wholesaler and you had to supply kerosine to an airline at $.90/gallon on a long-term contract or use it to "extend" diesel that you can charge $2.50-2.90/gallon, would you use as little of the kerosine in the diesel as possible, or as much as possible????

__. I'm betting the oil wholesalers are stuffing as much "other petroleum" in diesel as possible.

Hamberger Helper diesel for the winter?
I will have to keep an eye on my MPG and see if it is less than last year.
