help identifying this coolant hose

2003 Jetta TDI

drivers side end of block where top radiator hose terminates at block.
there is a coolant hose coming straight off the end and makes a hard 90 degree
back and goes to I think the intake manifold or there abouts…

what is this hose and where can I find it to buy a replacement.

Image isn't working. But your description sounds like the coolant pipe that goes to the egr cooler.

If you delete your egr it would go to the heater core, if not I think it goes to the EGR cooler.
