its what I use, no complaints reasonable consumption, maybe .1 liter per 1000 miles, ie i add the rest of a 5 l jug around the 5-6k mark. and I can get it at the local Napa for about 45-50 a 5l jug..
Andrew's 3rd generation (2Micron.com) return fuel filter, and Pure Flow HPFP modification, timing belt guard and the full Malone flashzilla / Buzzken stage2.0 eco treatment (bosal hitch and heavy springs for towing)

I had zero consumption with mobil1 esp or castrol slx pro. If I see it burning up I won't use this again. Ihatespeed, is your car burning oil with just the top tec or with other brands also?

I bought 4200 for my last oil change from napa. Probably burned .75 quart over the 10000 miles oci. Fairly new cr a3 with 35k on the odomoter.

I've been using 4200 in my car for the last 30k miles and I have not had any issue with burn off or needing to add more oil.

I plan on staying with 4200 for a long time.

Well I switched back to mobil 1 ESP. My car which hasn't had any consumption up till using the top-tec burned maybe 300-400ml between oci . I'm going to take a look under the car later to see if maybe there is a leak but I don't think that's the case. If I continue to see any consumption with the mobil 1 or it increses perhaps I'll need to check the IC for excessive residue.

been using top tec 4200 for the last 3 oil changes, ever since i drained the factory load. No oil use between OCI. Only loss is from wiping the dipstick to get a good reading on level.

Btw..switching brands may cause consumption initially but it should stop after the first OCI.
