I just got my VIN for the new Passat TDI SEL Premium. It is in the 40,000 range.
Based on the production percentages of Diesel to Gas of 30%, that would mean that 12,000 TDI's have been produced. Of course assuming linear production of the line, which I think we know is not true.
Still that would mean that MORE of these TDI's have been produced so far compare to the whole 10,000 (I think I heard this correctly) for the 2004-2005 Passat TDI line.
