I am getting ready for a future commute of 150 miles daily, 5 to 6 days a week.
I am very interested in the Golf TDI (manual) for both the fuel efficiency and it's handling.
I have seen quite a few very nice manual 2006 Jetta TDI's that would also make a great commute car...but would really like have the handling of the Golf.
Over the past few weeks I have only found a couple Golf TDI's and either they had massive miles or were automatics.
I have searched the forums, but I am either not wording my searches correctly, or the information is hard to find, but I'm trying to find the recommended years for the Mk V golf and what engine to look for, as I have seen lists that for between 2003 to 2008 their were at least 5 different variants of diesel engines.
If someone could direct me to the needed information I would very much appreciate the help
