I have a 3.16 R&P from a passat, that I need to install in my ALH manual 02J, now if I were to buy a LSD for the manual O2J will it still fit in there or do I have to get a different LSD from other model?

nah, 1st is the same in 2.0 gas and tdi, so it would make 1st actually useful instead of like on the TDI trans where you can easily ignore first.2.70-ish would be sweet.
.700 or even stock .756 5th would do well with that.

ASD, DTA, EXB all have the 3.157 diff and 3.3 1st gear. Quite common in Europe.Where did you get your 3.16?
